BREAKING NEWS: NEW RELEASE DATES FOR WHERE IS PAPA'S SHINING STAR (APRIL 2) AND FINDING PAPA'S SHINING STAR (APRIL 16)

You don't have to be paid to be a writer. You don't even have to work full-time at writing to be a writer. You don't even have to be published to be a writer--no matter what anyone else thinks. You just have to write and love it and watch the words pour out of your veins.

Margo Dill

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I've been writing forever, first on a big Chief tablet, then on my father's ancient Underwood typewriter. I've been through a portable typewriter, two electrics, a word processor, and several computers. I wrote stories and poems to amuse myself and to express feelings that had no other outlet. I never considered myself a real writer until I read Margo's words. They gave me courage, and now I'm actually published. But published or not, I write for the love of writing and that's the most important reason of all.
Two Vintage Rose novels, Where Is Papa's Shining Star? and its sequel, Finding Papa's Shining Star will be released June 18 and June 25 by The Wild Rose Press. For covers, blurbs, excerpts, and trailers, see, "Books".
